The map will extend from Illyria to India. Map: I want to recreate Alexander's campaign. So what shall we expect from RTR:Alexander? I made the proposal in the above link with Alexander in mind, and here I am to start it. Both quality mods, but Alexander's campaign is so unique and marvelous that I am surprised that only two mods have been made. There are only TWO mods that I know of that focus on this timeframe: Megas Alexandros, and Persian Invasion. Well, I'm gonna mix it up more and focus on Alexander. RTR VII changed it up a bit by focusing solely on the Western Mediterranean. RTR has always been focused on 280 BC to 14 AD. However, I love the RTW engine despite it's age and restrictions and I love RTR. Now we have moved on to TWR2 and I am happy to be a part of that team. RTR since it's conception has been focused on making RTW 'realistic'.

If I have to, I'll name it RTRPE:Alexander. Also, put this thread where you feel it will fit best, it's not a submod of RTRVII and it isn't part of any other mod. The last post is very informative to why this thread was made tonight. Please read through the thread in the link below and ignore all the 'progress' that was on it. Before I say anything and before you read anything I want you all to know where this idea stems from.
